Our university, the Korea National University of Transportation, with its outstanding faculty and educational and research infrastructure, has a history of over 100 years in nurturing global talents with creativity and passion.

The Department of IT Applied Convergence at the Korea National University of Transportation is established and operated under the "Industrial Education Promotion and Industrial-Academic Collaboration Promotion Law." It is divided into a regular contract department (1st-year entry and 3rd-year transfer programs) established and operated through contracts with the government, local governments, or industrial companies, and a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) support contract department (3rd and 4th-year transfer programs) established and operated through contracts with SME support agencies. Both programs aim to educate students in the specialized knowledge of information technology application and convergence fields, essential for the 21st-century information society, covering both theoretical expertise and practical industry fields.

In particular, by actively incorporating recent government policies and the demands of the information society through discussions with industrial partners, we are cultivating industrial professionals with creativity and innovative capabilities. Students learn diverse information-related knowledge necessary for national industrial development and are prepared as practical-oriented professionals who can meet the demands of the global era. Therefore, as professionals already working in the industry, you can further enhance your capabilities in the specialized knowledge, convergence skills, and practical applications in the field of information through our programs.
