I am the head of the Department of Physical Therapy.
The Department of Physical Therapy is responsible for the evaluation, rehabilitation, and education of patients with physical dysfunction, and trains physical therapists who contribute to disease prevention and health promotion of community residents.
Recently, due to the development of medical science and the extension of life expectancy, the number of people with various adult diseases and geriatric chronic diseases is increasing, and as the number of people with physical disabilities due to industrial accidents, traffic accidents, and sports injuries increases, the demand for physical function recovery is increasing. Additionally, as the need for disease prevention and health promotion increases among healthy individuals, the demand for physical therapist personnel is expected to increase.
The Department of Physical Therapy will work harder to provide quality education so that students can achieve their vision and dreams.

Physical therapists can identify physical function problems such as damage to body structure and function, activity limitations, and participation restrictions through physical therapy diagnosis and evaluation of patients with physical dysfunction due to diseases or disorders of the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiorespiratory, and skin systems. It also plays a role in restoring the physical, psychological and social functions of patients and improving the quality of life by implementing physical therapy interventions appropriate for each individual patient.
In addition, physical therapists contribute to improving the health of community residents by providing related education and physical therapy services to the general public to prevent disease or physical dysfunction and improve physical function.
After graduating from the Department of Physical Therapy and obtaining a physical therapist certificate through the national examination, the students will be work at university hospitals, general hospitals, hospitals, oriental medicine hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, special schools, public health centers, public health clinics, sports teams, sports centers, nursing homes, welfare centers for the disabled, and industrial companies.
