Our Department of Smart Railway Transportation Engineering aims to cultivate practical talents who will lead railway transportation by introducing 4th industrial revolution technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence for SMART (Smart & Safe Management System for Advanced Rail Transport) system to educate the theory and practical application capabilities of railway transportation. Therefore, we are giving many opportunities and various support for students who want to challenge this field with passion.

Based on the demand of industry, full-time professors, and related organizations, our department conducts practical training to cultivate manpower in the railway transportation field, and faithfully provides curriculum so that theory can be supported by field-oriented curriculum suitable for adult learner characteristics.

In addition, students armed with passion and challenges, and excellent faculty members who lead change are making efforts to contribute to the development of Korea's railway transportation sector through field-oriented convergence education suitable for adult learner characteristics and to gain global competitiveness in the new era.
