Introduction

Welcome to the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering!

 

We have a keen focus on nurturing exceptional individuals who can shine in areas such as petrochemical, process engineering, energy, environment, biotechnology, and nano-materials. A dedicated team of 8 faculty members and their associates are passionately committed to both academic pursuits and innovative research.

 

Our curriculum is built around key areas including thermodynamics, separation processes, transfer phenomena, reaction engineering, renewable energy, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. This ensures an educational approach that mirrors real-world industrial practices. We continuously innovate, developing new courses to address the evolving needs of industries spanning petrochemicals, electronic materials, semiconductors, environmental solutions, and biotechnology. Furthermore, we equip our students with actionable knowledge and experience, making them industry-ready upon graduation, through partnerships with industry and practical on-site training.

 

Beyond just academic mentorship, our professors engage in one-on-one consultations with students. This holistic guidance covers academic performance, extracurricular activities, and career aspirations, all aimed at molding our students into well-rounded and skilled chemical engineers.
