In this current globalized world, ‘change’ is requiring a fast-paced adjustment and a close cooperation. Hence, international amity should be achieved through mutual agreement and conversation but not through the power. Therefore, the national interest should be further promoted through the practical diplomatic relations established by a mutual coexistence.

To accept globalization and be adapted to it are not just state or corporate matter, but can be a personal matter. An individual should also be able to take the initiative and be part of the globalization in regard to the mission of this era.

The global division of Korea National University of Transportation has newly launched this year to enhance personal standard of globalization level in each individual of our university. Thus, we are going to build general environment where mutual exchange with foreign educational institute is flourished and as well as individual language skills are improved throughout the process.

These days, many universities consider globalization as an opportunity to increase the number of foreign students. Increasing them is crucial to build the core environment of globalization, but there is more to the number. Therefore, we need to make sure accepting highly qualified foreign students and creating an academic atmosphere, so that they can communicate with our own students based on mutual exchange.

The global division of Korea National University of Transportation will pursue ‘a true globalization’ that can only be found in our university. We are going to cultivate talented students with a global mind and the proficient language skills, in which they can understand a foreign culture and seek for the true globalization.
