Application Process

  • Submission of application for admissions → documents screening or interview → announcement of successful applicant → payment of tuition → issuance of certificate for admission and certificate of tuition payment → application for VISA → obtaining VISA → arrival at KNUT → attending at school →Apllying for Alien Registration

Application Eligibility

  • Those who completed 12 years of the elementary, middle and high school curriculum.
  • Those who have Foreign Nationality

How to summit

  • Application for Admission must be submitted to Office of International Affairs by post or in person. The mail should be postmarked by the deadline.
  • Reception : Office of International Affairs, 50 Daehak-ro, Chungju-si, Chungbuk, Seoul, 27469, South Korea

    The admission will be cancelled if the applicant is not a studying purpose even after admission.

In case an applicant applies for VISA or for a sojourn change in Korea, the applicant must summit one of the following documents;

①The proved document related to Apostille program agreement,
②the authorized report issued from the CHSI(China Higher-education Student Information Center or China Academic Degrees   Graduate Education Information(only Chinese)
∙An enrolled student: Credential Report issued by www.cdgdc.edu.cn.
7 A copy of Transcripts
Transcripts including all semester records in high school, College or University (Write down telephone Number of the college or University)

Transcripts including all semester records, GPA and lank of one’s class in high school, College or University

8 Certificate of deposit(over USD $10,000)
It has been deposited more than one month from the date of application, Certificate of remittance to Korea or Certificate of Exchange Money
- Write down the name, telephone number, and the person name of the Bank.
9 A copy of applicant and parents' HO Gu BU or Family register(Quinshuguanxi zhengming) and A copy of applicant and parents'ID card
- In case that the applicants parents live separated and all the family members are not in the documents, notarized relationship certificate is needed.
10 Certificate of Employment and Certificate of Annual Income of Parents
- Write down the name, telephone number, and the person name of the Bank.
11 A letter of sponsorship(it should be notarized.)

All required supporting documents should be submitted after translated in Korean or in English and notarized. It takes about 2 months for Chinese students to get a D-4 VISA for Admission.

Applicant should submit all required documents for Admission prior to 2 months from the starting date of a semester.

The certificate of Admission for D-4 VISA is issued to applicant who enrolled over 2 semesters(6 months)

A Chinese staying in Korea contact us in advance and then submits required document for admission.

In case an applicant applies for VISA or for a sojourn change in Korea, the applicant must summit one of the following documents;

②the document proved by the Korean Embassy in the country of sojourn
6 A copy of final Diploma or graduate-to-be Diploma
- It includes all semester records in high school, College or University (Write down telephone Number of the college or University)

7 A financial documents(certificate of deposit over USD 10,000, or certificate of remittance or exchange)
8 A copy of applicant's and parents' ID card
9 A copy of register for whole family
10 An original certificate of employment of father and mother
- It contains the name of organization, working period, title, income(monthly salary or annual income), issuer and contact number. It is also submitted with the translations in Korea.
11 In case of self-employment, a copy of Business registration and an original property certificate
12 A letter of sponsorship
- Only in case that it proofs tuition and expenses in staying in Korea and Minister of Law admits, it is not necessary to be notarized

Mongolian and Uzbekistan have to apply for over 2 semesters so that D-4 visa can be issued. But Applicant staying in Korea can apply for per semester.

Within about 5 days after the application received.
